I'm smart, but not pretentious, enjoy discussions on nearly any topic. I enjoy getting to know people from nearly any culture or background, though religious fundamentalists are probably not ever going to be in my close circle of friends.

Humor is important to me � more the smart kind than the �Dumb and Dumber� kind, though stupid humor has its place as well. Remember Kirstie Alley in her series "Fat Actress"? She was still HOT, but had extra poundage. That is where I am now. I'm attractive, and happy with where I am on the way to where I�m going.

I like to go out and enjoy life, and am comfortable at a wine tasting or a favorite dive, a coffee shop, a fancy restaurant, a friend's house, or at musical or theater events (whether it be a jamming metal band, or a high-brow event, I will probably enjoy it). I know which fork to use. I'm an artist.

While I love the outdoors, I am not a camper (unless it's an RV). I don't mind roughing it, but I do not find getting up at three a.m. and having to trek the 1/4 mile to the bathroom a really good time. Or worse, having no bathroom at all. While I like hiking, I do it for the views, not to see how many miles I can trek in a day before collapsing or getting heat stroke.

YOU: Professional, educated, and fun-loving. I tend toward the average to skinny geeky types (we all have our preferences, don't we?), but anyone who is intelligent and can carry a conversation as well as be ------- is okay with me. My main criteria?

1. We have common interests, enough to have easy and interesting albeit adhd conversations, as well as do things together
2. We are compatible, both in personality and in physical areas
3. Financial responsibility (not rich - just not a irresponsible)3. Mental stability - you don't have to be perfect, but please be stable. I don't need at this time in my life to feel as if I'm having to take care of someone or walking on eggshells.
