Laid-back librarian I'm a laid-back librarian, a music nerd, and a romantic. I never lose my temper and always respect the feelings of others.

Although I'm rather introverted in public, I do possess a well-rounded sense of humor. I'm sarcastic and able to laugh at myself. I'm just not quick or very comfortable when it comes to socializing. But I'm open to broadening my experiences and wouldn't mind being taken out of my comfort zone.

I'm an eclectic person with many interests. My favorite movie is "The Princess Bride". I have a scholarly interest in music history, horror literature, WWII, philosophy, and paranormal stuff. I'm just as comfortable watching AMC's "Breaking Bad" as I am "Downton Abbey".

I'm a serious music lover, having a BA in Music and being a classical pianist. Although I can headbang to metal, I am most passionate about and worship the power of classical music. I'm also a dilettante of the fine arts, savoring the "darker" masters: Goya, Munch, and Dore. I'm an avid reader of literature, mostly sterner stuff like gothic horror and expressionism. But even if I prefer Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Baudelaire, I've read and enjoyed every book by Jane Austen.

I'm looking for someone who is easy-going, intelligent or artistically-inclined, romantic, and serious when it comes to maintaining a relationship. Although it's not required, I'd like to find someone with similar interests who could expand my interests as well.

One pet-peeve I have: It genuinely bothers me when women think badly of themselves because they are "overweight" (as if it's a bad thing) or think they should strive to be thin only because our culture says so. I hold the opposite view that full-figured women are more attractive. Therefore, I hope to find a woman who is comfortable with her body.
