Insert Witty, Eye-Catching Headline Here I can be a bit of a geek/nerd when it comes to certain things. I often find myself inadvertently coming up with ideas that can somehow be written into my novel(s).

I've always been very creative. I tend to gravitate more towards literature rather than art, and I always seem to pick up on the literary aspects of TV shows and movies.

I'm a HUGE Tolkien fan. I also enjoy classic literature and Shakespeare. I've been trying to get back into reading more, and I think I'm going to finally break down and read the Harry Potter series. I only saw the first movie and have to admit to being intrigued. I just never got around to reading/watching any more of it.

My taste in movies and music tends to be very eclectic, and I can usually find aspects that I like in almost anything. However, I do have my favorites.

My favorite movie would have to be The Lord of the Rings trilogy, but I also like Braveheart, Star Wars (all of them, some better than others), Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Inglorious Basterds.

As far as music goes, I'm on a more modern rock kick than anything else right now, but I do enjoy all varieties. However, my favorites will always be Metallica (old), Guns N' Roses, Breaking Benjamin, and 30 Seconds to Mars.

Aside from music and movies, I used to watch a few TV shows quite regularly, although not so much anymore: The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show, Family Guy, American Dad, Venture Brothers, and Metalocalypse. I tend to enjoy most of the shows on Adult Swim. I've also been a big anime and manga fan for a while now. I enjoy Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, and Trigun, but I'm drawn mostly to Inuyasha. Something about that story has always captured me. And I love the character and plot development throughout the series.

I've also always enjoyed video games. I used to have somewhat of an addiction to World of Warcraft. But I haven't even logged on for weeks. I've been playing a lot of Dragon Age: Origins lately, although that has st
