Big Girls Need Love Too, Craig!! With so much drama in the DMV originality is at an all time low. But there is hope. Allow me to introduce Ellis-D, the next generation of Ill Lyricist! With clever rhymes, insane lyrics and a sick delivery this Shadyside rapper is (for lack of a better term) "The New s---."

Living at his Grandparents' house with several relatives Ellis-D was a problem child, constantly in a out of trouble. In class with the good kids and in the street with the bad ones, Ellis-D ironically found Hip-Hop at a detention center for juveniles in the pages of a Source magazine he had gotten from a fellow inmate. With the combination of poetry and music coming natural to him, Ellis-D believed that a strong work ethic coupled with a fresh perspective was the key to sure success in one of the most crucial hustles, the rap game. So at 16 he began writing 2 verses a day (That's atleast 16 bars twice a day... Everyday!) By 18 he was up to 3 verses a day and a song or 2 a week. By 19 he was already winning battles, performing and working with local artist to hone his skill.

Present Day, Ellis-D is a force to be reckoned within the DMV. From Baltimore to Northern Virginia & from College Park to Ocean City, Ellis-D is known for stealing the show everytime his name's on the bill. "The rhymes speak for themselves," and they always do. The whole point is to impress, amaze and entertain. With his fresh Wasteland perspective Ellis-D has what it takes to keep you guessing what he's going to say next.
