And I'll freely admit that I have a superhero mentality, where I wished I could save the whole world. I have very unique interests. I consider myself a geek/nerd. I love computers, reading, art, history, science, philosophy, etc... The list goes on and on in every direction. I seriously do try to be a jack of all trades, just because I am interested in everything.
I'm just looking for people that share the same interests as me. Or people that compliment mine is fine as well. I don't conform to the majority of the pop culture crap that's out there. There's nothing wrong with it per say, but if you're basing your life around it so much that when someone describes you, you sound like a tabloid, then something is wrong with your priorities.
I like people that can carry on a meaningful conversation. Although meaningless small talk is fine too, I just want to make sure the person I'm talking to has the potential for more than just that. I'm not really a high energy person, (it can come in spurts though) but that just leaves me time to reflect and pursue my geeky interests.
I like people that still have some hope for the world, a childlike sense of wonder. A good sense of humor is nice too and can help your cause greatly.
