I'm an American in Prague, trying to cope with the Expat life and a language I have no chance of picking up on. I teach children for a living, and I find being around kids helps the imagination and creativity flowing. I try to channel that into writing stories, all though each one is still a work in progress.

I love living in Europe, and have been here for almost a year now. Prague is such a beautiful city, but I think after another year, I may decide to move on. My hope is to settle either in Germany or Scotland (as the visa permits). But regardless, I want to soak up as much Europe as I can.

I decided to join this website because it's hard enough to find chemistry without a language barrier. So the situation I find myself in is darn near impossible. I also miss my family tremendously, and another difficult part of life as a foreigner is that there's a high rate of turn-around when it comes to friends. The summer comes, and everyone else goes home.

My interests are truly far reaching and ever changing. I love to go dancing, particularly Salsa, because that's an activity where having big hips is actually an asset. I write a lot, but I'm reluctant to share any of my stories until they're finished. One thing I love to do though if I'm ever spending time with children is to make up a story upon request. I like feeling like a kid that still knows how to play pretend.

As for what I'm looking for . . . well honestly, just someone that can make me laugh. All of the other stuff can come later, and the fun part is learning it as you go. I laugh too much, too loud, and too often. It would just be nice to find someone that can keep the laughter coming.
