Well, just for starters I am looking for friendship first and then what life may bring�..

Each person has there own personality, which makes them the individual that they are, so it's hard to say what I expect in a man, other than honesty, integrity and chivalry. You can be a gentleman, but still be rough around the edges. Not into cyber talk or cams. More enjoyable the old-fashioned way, eye-to-eye, hands on contact.

I enjoy quiet evenings at home, as well as activities with special friends. I enjoy getaways like Mackinac Island or going on long drives or walks. Going to the bar just to meet people is not for me, but I wouldn�t pass up a good stand up comic act.

I enjoy the intensity of our four seasons, even though winter is cold. But I love the whiteness of the snow. There is a road by my home that the trees are like a tunnel, and in the winter when the trees are iced over, it just awes me. Then you have the rains in spring and fall, and my yard is one big puddle, but that�s okay. I live in the country, so seeing the fall colors is just outside my back door.

I've lost my best friend and have been a widow for a period of time where I have come to the realization that I don't want to spend the rest of my life without a significant other - lover, ultimately friend. Life has dealt a harsh blow, but it does go on.
