Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry **I am not looking for dates. I'm engaged to a wonderful man and I don't visit the site anymore. I'm not looking for anything more than friendship.**

I believe you don't get anything without giving up something first, so here is a little bit about me:

I have an undergraduate degree in English and a Master's degree in Reading Education. I am the editor of a small press that publishes a poetry chapbook series and a literary magazine. I was recently in a documentary film. I am a resource teacher for special education students, and I am also a freelance writer.

I have no children of my own, but I have a 5-year-old nephew who is very important to me.

That's the simple version of it. The real stories are longer and more interesting, but I'm not going to get into storyteller mode here. I just wanted to give you a brief portrait of what I do and who I am.

I love books and bookstores. I love movies. I don't have cable, but I stream Netflix into my TV.

Once in a while, I eat at restaurants I cannot afford. The rest of the time, I try to eat healthy, and things work out for the best. My favorite restaurant right now Pangea in Pittsburgh's Shadyside.

I collect whales. I make art out of old paper and ephemera.

Life has to keep getting better because I don't buy into the idea that the happiest time of life was high school / college / whatever. I always hope that there's something better right around the corner.
