britishgent relocated to the U.S.A. A little about myself, I was relocated by my company to the Raleigh area from Chester, England about three years ago. I am employed as a program engineer for a international broadcasting company and telecommute from my home. I have to admit for the first few months that it was a culture shock but I am getting used to the American slang now. LOL, I do enjoy living here and find the people delightful and there is so much to explore and do from the mountains to the beach.

I do have a bit of a sense of humor and always look at life as a glass half full. I enjoy going to the beach, Traveling, Cruises, Scuba diving, hiking, Camping, Fine Dining, Sitting in front of a roaring fire with a good book,

Visiting wineries and wine tasting, Walks in the park, moonlight walks on the beach ( a bit of a romantic) going for a ride in the country, antiquing, going to the lake and cooking out and so much more..... getting into the car and exploring.

Oh and of course taking my dog for a walk or if you ask her she takes me for the walk. LOL
