Can you pull me out of my shell? I'm a single mother of a eight year old boy. Recently out of a long term relationship and moved into a small apartment. I'm mostly a homebody but enjoy time out with friends and family whether it be just getting together for conversation, going out to eat, to the movies or shopping. I enjoy the summertime the most and like to go to the beach as often as I can. My favorite music is what's played on WAAF with my favorite bands being Metallica and Godsmack. I don't really enjoy girlie movies and would rather watch a good action movie. I try to read as much as I'm able to and right now I'm into autobiographies(currently reading Herion Diaries from Nikki Sixx). I try to go on a vacation at least once a year whether it is up to Maine for a 5 day beach vacation, or a trip in a plane to Florida or Las Vegas. I've been at my job for 20 years and have enough vacation time to enjoy a vacation.
I'm not looking for anything serious but if dating someone leads to that then that's ok too. I'm kind of shy and tend to be attracted to people who can lead the conversation, once I'm comfortable enough I will talk about everything and anything.
I'd like to find someone I have things in common with. I enjoy going to concerts. I don't want to miss my favorite TV shows like Dexter, TruBlood, or Weeds. I hate talking on the phone. My son is very important to me and we come as a package deal.
