I live near the shore in NJ. I am intelligent, warm, playful, -------, affectionate, conversant and passionate about the things I enjoy in life. I seek similar qualities in those I meet. My main passions are fine art and music (roots rock, singer-songwriters, alt-country, etc.) which I satisfy by going to museums, festivals and live music shows. I also enjoy dining at interesting restaurants, watching movies (I favor offbeat/indie films), reading and driving aimlessly in the spirit of finding the unfamiliar. A few more items on the list of favorites: a great cup of cappuccino, slow starts on Sundays, long lasting kisses, spontaneous signs of affection (even if in public), comfy pajamas, creme brulee, David Sedaris, WXPN, "Idiot's Delight", big dogs, cooking alongside a partner (although I'm a kitchen klutz) and sleeping in on a rainy day.

I hope to meet someone who has a set of interests he is enthusiastic about and willing to share. A few qualities that I seek in a partner are: honesty, the ability to have a sense of humor during the difficult times, patience, flexibility, compassion, open-mindedness, emotional bravery, the ability to communicate and a sense that-- while work is important-- one works to live, not lives to work. Ultimately, I would like to find a partner in crime-- someone who will explore, discover, play, learn and perhaps even get into a little trouble alongside me.
