Looking for Friends and wanting more Recently single, pursuing a masters degree and looking for someone to explore Austin with. I am not looking to settle into a long term relationship on the second date, but if that click is heard open to it.

I am looking for that unique man who is city and country. I was raised in a rural area not far from the city. I love Austin; I plan to continue living here for a long time, but life is what happens when you are making other plans - so the future is open. I love being out in the country and enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery (and I'll take pictures of as much of that scenery as I can).

The man who will eventually win my heart will have all the standard issue requests (job, sense of humor, intelligence, passion, etc.) and a health respect for women who are independent and strong. I am a strong woman mostly out of genetics and necessity, but the man who becomes my last love will be the one who makes a safe place for me not to be strong (if you have ever heard Clay Walker's song "Fall" - that's the man for me).

If you can go a day without music, we won't get along - I must have music, all kinds of music, I'll listen to anything once (and sometimes twice) but there has to be music in my life.

I like NFL football (I have correctly chosen the SuperBowl winner the last three years in a row and been better than several men at picking weekly winners - I LOVE football), learning to like College football more. I am a born and raised SPURS fan, but not obnoxious about it (unless they are in the Championship, then I can get a little worked up). Oh and as for the NFL, I quit being a Cowgirls fan in 1988 when they classlessly fired Coach Landry - I am a Texans fan, a Packers fan (they are the only team owned by the public) and Manning boys fan.

I like going to garage sales and thrift stores, watching quirky movies in the theater (big Hollywood movies I watch at home). I am a big fan of the library and independent bookstores.
