I'm very passionate about honesty and loyalty in a relationship or friendship.
I like classy people with big smiles and a good heart, I may LOOK like I'm "about that life", but I'm truly a protective romantic who was born and raised in Brooklyn and Queens NY, but grew up in Catholic school, raised by a single mother. Although I toy alot with the slang and can be "ghetto" for laughs, I really frown on it and can't stand the talk or environment. I'm grown and was raised well yo! lol 
I'm a true New Yorker. I don't get familiar too quickly, I'm naturally shy, nervous, and quiet with women when first meeting someone whether I like you or not. It takes alot to understand me, but once I see that a person is genuine and actually cares, I start to open up. It takes patience though. 
I'm a excellent friend, a good listener, a genuine heart, I'm one of a kind, "different", old fashioned and true. I speak my mind and tell it how it is! I love to shop, fancy hotels, eat at nice restaurants, take long drives to nowhere just to get lost, think and listen to music. I love water and nice views, and Beauty lies within with me. I love great conversation. I'm mainly looking for friendship, and if it's genuine and thrives, possibly more. I'm a slow patient man who been through alot with the wrong woman, so I'm extra cautious now. Besides I believe the friendship bond and companionship is what I need and miss the most. Being able to talk and share personal things, watching movies together, laughing together, being a team... I want that.
I'm very big on respect. I love kids, kids love me for some reason, I have 2 of my own. I'm BIG on chivalry. Opening doors for women, carrying bags, pulling out chairs, it irks me when a woman likes to carry bags or open a door for me or do strenuous stuff. "Man stuff" I'm a tad bit of a chauvinist.  
Can't stand rude people, racist, people who judge, people who talk too much, people who do wrong to kids, and people who think money is ever
